Our mission, here at Church on the Move is to continue the ministry of Jesus by serving our community. We offer a range of community services designed to provide support, encouragement, and assistance during challenging times but also to grow friendships and learn together.
Help House
Monday @ 10am
Help House provides a range of services including a food bank, coffee morning, and advice service. On Mondays, the team starts with a catch-up and assigns tasks. Visitors are welcomed with free hot and cold drinks and snacks. Each person can have a private conversation with a volunteer while choosing items from the food bank. Help House also offers pre-booked advice appointments and hosts a free legal advice clinic.
Community Cafe
Monday @ 12.30pm
Welcome to the Community Cafe, held every Monday afternoon right after the Help House food bank. Enjoy a free meal in a cozy and friendly atmosphere, where you can socialize and connect with others. It's a wonderful opportunity to get out of house, share a meal, and be part of the Neath community. Join us and experience the warmth of togetherness!
Foundations
Monday @ 7pm
Join us for our Foundations Evening, held every week for one hour, where get into the basics of understanding the Word of God. This gathering is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their faith and build a solid foundation in biblical teachings. Together, we'll explore the essentials of Christianity and foster a supportive community as we grow in knowledge and love for God's Word. Come, and let's embark on this enlightening journey together!
Little Arrows
Tuesday @ 10-12pm
Little Arrows Family Support Hub is a welcoming weekly baby bank dedicated to supporting families in need. We offer a range of clothing up to 3 years, along with essential items for both babies and mothers. Join us for a free hot drink and make friends with other parents in a friendly and supportive environment. We're here to help you thrive!
Study With John
Tuesday @ 8pm
John is a fantastic bible teacher who delves into the scriptures to uncover the truths of God. With a foundation in Tabernacle theology, John brings spirit led revelation that is always grounded in the Word of God and inspired by the spirit. His teaching is less about telling you the truth, and more about bringing revelation to cause the listener to question theology. His aim is to get you to think for yourselves and not rely solely on other peoples revelation or second hand information. The bible, the revelation of Christ is available for everyone to discover!
John’s study takes place every tuesday evening at 8pm at the mission hall (lesser hall) along with refreshments. It is also available to watch online for 30 days.

Join our Women Together group, a welcoming space where women come together weekly to socialize, engage in various activities, and deepen their relationship with God. This gathering fosters a sense of community and connection, allowing us to support one another while exploring our creativity and spirituality. Whether you're looking to make new friends or strengthen your faith, our group is here for you. We can't wait to see you!

This is a group and community for men who struggle with mental health, addictions, depression etc where healing takes place through conversation
So come along and start your journey to wholeness!
women's outreach
Thursday @10.30am
Women's Outreach is here to support women who are needing encouragement, community and a cuppa. There may even be a pot noodle in it for you! This is a safe place for women who need a helping hand.
We ask that no children come as there will be more adult conversations taking place.

Last Friday of every month

Joshua Voice Choir
Starts back 3rd Sept
Join the Joshua Voice Choir community and share your passion for music. Set up in honour of Frank Joshua's choir in 1920. We host two performances a year during Easter and Christmas. Our choir is open to all abilities, ages 11 and up, and is completely free to join. Let's create beautiful music together!
The Joshua Company
The Joshua Company provides actors for original Christian productions for film and theatre. We want to be able to engage audiences by bringing stories that have high moral values and ultimately point everyone to Jesus.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere that allows actors and creatives to explore their talents so that they can release the full potential that they have in order to bring to God.
We're not seeking to be professional, we only want to be excellent in all that we do. So if you're interested in The Joshua Company, whether you've been trained, have had experience in performing or if it's something you're passionate about and haven't yet done, then please get in touch!

At Church on the Move, we’re excited to share that we have a unique bar, created by our very own members during last year's refurbishment. This multifunctional space serves as a central hub in our Lesser Hall, catering to various ministries, events, and gatherings, big and small. Our mission is to bring people together, both from our church and the wider community, creating connections and blessings for all. Everything we offer, from a delightful selection of hot and cold food to tea and coffee is free of charge, as we believe in serving and uplifting everyone who walks through our doors.
