Our mission, here at Church on the Move is to continue the ministry of Jesus by serving our community. We offer a range of community services designed to provide support, encouragement, and assistance during challenging times but also to grow friendships and learn together.
For everyone:
The Community Café is a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone is invited to enjoy free hot and cold drinks, along with a warm meal served after 12:30pm. It’s a place to pause, connect, and feel part of a supportive community. Whether someone comes for a chat, a cuppa, or simply a moment of rest, the café offers comfort, kindness, and a sense of belonging.

The Help House Food Bank offers a welcoming, dignified space where Neath residents can access essential food items without the need for a referral. Visitors are supported by friendly volunteers who provide private, one‑to‑one conversations while helping them choose the items they need most while enjoying a free hot drink. It’s a compassionate, community‑centred service designed to offer practical help and genuine care during challenging times.

Join us for our Foundations Evening, held every week for one hour, where get into the basics of understanding the Word of God. This gathering is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their faith and build a solid foundation in biblical teachings. Together, we'll explore the essentials of Christianity and foster a supportive community as we grow in knowledge and love for God's Word. Come, and let's embark on this enlightening journey together!
The Village Cwtch
Monthly event - Tuesday @ 10.30-12.20pm
This is a place for families, led by husband and wife duo Chris and Katie. We may have our own kids hanging off our legs and wriggling in our arms but we are in this together. Whether you need a fresh supply of nappies, a beautifully curated bundle for a new arrival, a moment of prayer after a long night, a chinwag to an actual adult or simply a cuppa that you haven’t had to microwave multiple times —our door is open. Everything is free, always.
We are also excited to host regular ‘Village Visitors’ - from local experts to friendly neighbours - so we can all learn and grow together. Whether it’s sharing a new skill, a bit of wisdom, or even a Pilates taster class, we want the Cwtch to be a place where we all pour into one another.

Study With John

John is a fantastic bible teacher who delves into the scriptures to uncover the truths of God. With a foundation in Tabernacle theology, John brings spirit led revelation that is always grounded in the Word of God and inspired by the spirit. His teaching is less about telling you the truth, and more about bringing revelation to cause the listener to question theology. His aim is to get you to think for yourselves and not rely solely on other peoples revelation or second hand information. The bible, the revelation of Christ is available for everyone to discover!
John’s study takes place every tuesday evening at 8pm at the mission hall (lesser hall) along with refreshments. It is also available to watch online for 30 days.
